MARVoc is an augmented reality learning app that is designed to support vocabulary learning for children with Autism spectrum disorder. It employs an interactive approach toward learning through the use of augmented reality and a robotic tutor, called “MARVoc”, that accompanies the children in their learning journey.

Usage
MARVoc app childrens view contains three main options learning, activities, and games. The learning option allows the child to practice learning vocabulary and new words. While the activities option provides three levels of difficulties in which the child can practice forming words. The MarVoc app also provides several entertaining educational games. Through the MARVoc app, parents will be able to view the childs performance and track their performance through the “Activity insight.” Teachers/specialists will be able to communicate and discuss the child’s performance throughout the different levels and activities.

Features
AR functionality when the child created a 3-letter word and a 3D model of the word is then displayed. Also, the child will be able to view a 3D model of the object representing the word.
Educational Games were incorporated into the app.
An Animated robot character, MARVoc, that instructs and guides the children throughout the application. The robot was animated to talk, stand, greet, and represent different emotions. MARVoc was then added to most of the screens in the application.
A dashboard was Designed and integrated dashboard which allows both the parents and the teachers to monitor the child’s progress.
A Live-chatting feature is introduced in the form of text, and audio between the parents and the teachers.
